Pastor's Letter # 4

Dear Brethren:

As a former Jesus Name Apostolic, now a YAHWAH ( YHWH) NAME APOSTOLIC, I would like to discuss some serious basic questions about the foundings, the roots, the beginnings of the name of Jesus as well as the name of YHWH (YAHWAH), I will be using Bro. Graves book THE GOD OF TWO TESTAMENTS.

When one studies the name of Jesus we find that there are many changes in his name. First I would like to speak historically about this name. The name of Jesus is only approximately 400 to 500 years in use. You can go to the 1611 Revised King James Bible and you will not find the name of Jesus. At that time they call him IEJUS. After reading Malachi 3:6 I have a serious question to ask. My question is this, who gave man the authority to change GOD'S NAME? Now I have another genuine concern, what is the first and only NAME of GOD and why is it not being taught and preached about by our loving PASTORS that love 100% truth? This brings another legitimate question to my mind. If JESUS is the SACRED NAME of GOD why do we have so many sinful people named by that name? Another problem arises at this juncture and I will address it with the following question, Will we also call IESUS, ISUS, and JEHOSHUA SACRED NAMES?

When one further studies about this name, JESUS, we have some more changes. Before IEJUS was used we see that it evolved from ISUS. When we go to STRONGS CONCORDANCE and look up the name of Jesus we see it is not even a HEBREW NAME for MESSIAH. The first thing we notice is that it is a Greek name. I have a real problem with this. What would a HEBREW couple in those times be naming a child, no less the REDEEMER of ISRAEL, a heathen (GENTILE) name? The HEBREW GOD'S NAME was from eternity called YHWH (YAHWAH). The reason I use the terminology heathen is because STRONGS CONCORDANCE gives the same HEBREW reference # of 1471 for the words heathen and gentile. Now if you further your study to the same words in the New Testament you will see that they again have the same reference # for the Greek, which is #1484. The word pagan is also used for gentile.

The reference # for Jesus is #2424. So we first find that his name is said to be Greek. The second thing we find is that Jesus comes from Jehoshua. Now I have another glitch in our theology, the SAVIOUR only having ONE NAME, you know, none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Shall we baptize and confess with our mouth all of these names? Let us go to our Bro. Graves' book THE GOD OF TWO TESTAMENTS to try to find a beacon of light & truth to give us knowledge and understanding of why man has the right to change GOD'S name.

On page #7 Bro. Graves declares that YAHWAH is ALMIGHTY GOD and in Gen. 17:1 YAHWAH introduces HIMSELF as ALMIGHTY GOD. Pages # 8 & 9, states the author, that YAHWAH HIMSELF is the ONLY TRUE GOD. He uses ISA. 44:6 and JER. 10:10 to show that YAHWAH is the FIRST & LAST, the TRUE LIVING GOD and that there is no other GOD but HIM. Notice that the names of Jesus, Iesus, or Isus are not in the vocabulary of the HEBREWS. MK. 12:32 and the scribe said unto him, "Well, MASTER, THOU hast said the truth: for there is *ONE GOD*; and there is NONE OTHER but HE." In reading scripture and reading some of Bro. Graves' book I can say without a doubt that MESSIAH, the scribe and Bro. Graves was speaking to love YHWH GOD, not Jesus God.

ISA. 45:22,23 (p. 13) states that every knee shall bow; every tongue shall swear that YHWH IS GOD. Bro. Graves' theology starts to waver here. He goes to and leans on the theology of a Trinitarian, Professor Geisler stating that Jesus is Jehovah and people will confess Jesus. Bro. Graves doesn't believe in the translation of Jehovah but in the translation to YAHWAH. We have a problem here. Christianity has changed THE NAME OF Messiah from YAHWAH to Jesus and our pastors, bishops, presbyters; dist. superintendents go along with it. They should be ashamed of themselves.

In order to have credence or believability, there has to be consistency of the NAME of GOD in both testaments. The author states (p. #16) that YAHWAH HIMSELF is GOD. Using ISA. 3:14, 15 he declares YAHWAH'S NAME IS FOREVER. What part of forever do we not understand? Graves also says that YAHWAH makes HIMSELF known as the self-existent one. PSM. 86:9-10 ALL NATIONS whom THOU hast made shall come and worship before THEE, O YHWH; and shall glorify THY NAME. For THOU art great, and doest wondrous things: THOU ART GOD ALONE. Scripture states it so clearly that GOD'S NAME IS YHWH AND ALL NATIONS SHALL KNOW THAT HE IS GOD ALONE.

Bro. Graves indites himself as a conspirator (by innocence) and a compromiser by agreeing with the REVISED BIBLE group. Do some homework people! Revised means changed, perverted. Page #20 he states that YAHWAH is the ROCK and the SHEPHERD. On page 22 ISAIAH 40:10,1 declares that YAHWAH will come back as SHEPHERD. Use common sense. YAHWAH has ONLY ONE NAME and it is not Jesus, Iesus, Isus, Jehoshua, Joshua, Jeshua or Jashua, HIS NAME IS ONE. ZECH. 14:9 "And YHWH shall be KING over all the earth: in that day YHWH shall be ONE, and HIS NAME ONE." HIS NAME SHALL NOT BE TWO.

Page 24 YAHWAH is the word; YAHWAH is owner of the world; p.25 YAHWAH is creator; YAHWAH IS SAVIOUR. Then the hand is quicker than the eye; the author states that Jesus is YAHWAH-SAVIOUR. Page 26 ISAIAH 43:11 we, even I, am YHWH; and beside ME there is NO SAVIOUR. The author is unstable. The word says there is no other SAVIOUR but YHWH.

We have a big problem with miss-speak on page 27, known in American Indian as White-man speaketh with forketh tongue. In the south we call it the two-step or two timing. Let me explain. The author does a magic trick here. He tries to make YHWH'S NAME into a Jesus name. Take a look at the game of the Greek Jesus being changed into a Hebrew Joshua. Now he does the hokey-pokey and makes Jesus and Joshua into YHWH SAVIOUR. In a court of law this argument would be considered rubbish and the judge would declare a mistrial and throw it out of court for lack of substantial evidence.

Lets explain it in a simple way. Let's say your birth legal name was Robert Smith. Mama called you Bobby, Papa called you Bob, a friend called you Robby, and a worker called you Rob, and someone called you late for dinner. When I write you a check for $100,000 would you want me to write you the check in the name of Rob, Robby, Bob, Bobby or Robert Smith? I believe you would be smart enough to choose the right name of Robert Smith. Your birth certificate, all school records, all medical, all employment records, all bills, all tax papers, and all checks and finally your death certificate would carry your legal name of Robert Smith. No one has the authority to change YHWH to a Jehovah, to a Jehoshua, to a Joshua, to an Isus, to an Iesus, to a Jesus or to a Jashua or a JESHUA.

I feel pity for Bro. Graves because he keeps on two-stepping and he doesn't do it to good. The author makes legitimate intelligent claims but latter he tries to make YHWH into a Jesus. Lets go on with his classic examples of double-speak. On page 59 YHWH comes in flesh, pages 59 -61 YHWH our FATHER. YHWH is shown to be THE HOLY SPIRIT on pages 72, 73, 77, 78, 84, 86. Bro. Graves states biblical truth about KING YHWH on pages 111-115. Page 116 states YHWH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS & YHWH SAVIOUR. The author writes on page 118 YHWH KING OF ISRAEL, THE FIRST AND LAST. On page 122 Graves states truth about YHWH OUR JUDGE, KING AND LAWGIVER and on page 130 we see, of a truth, YHWH as our GOD, REDEEMER, MESSIAH, AND YHWH'S THRONE FOREVER. The last page I will comment on is on page 153. It is an eternal truth and that is EX. 3:15 that YHWH IS HIS ETERNAL NAME.

Bro. Graves, all present and past pastors, presbyters, dist. superintendents, preachers, evangelists, teachers you have a grave responsibility by teaching error and making YHWH'S NAME into a Jesus Name. No one gave you the divine right to agree with the change. I believe you are making a grave (no pun intended Bro. Graves) mistake by not preaching THE TRUE NAME OF YHWH ONLY and BAPTIZING IN YHWH'S NAME ONLY. If you are a lover of truth and pray, I have faith in THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH that HE will give you the strength to obey. Do you have the courage to leave the wrong names and embrace the NAME OF THE TRUE LIVING GOD, YHWH OUR SAVIOUR?

I encourage all that can see the eternal truth of this message to ask your pastors to baptize you in the only legal SACRED NAME there is, in YHWH MESSIAH'S NAME. If your pastor refuses you baptism in YHWH'S NAME (called pastoral malpractice) because he doesn't have or refuses the revelation of HIS NAME, then call me and I'll baptize you the way the original the Apostles did. P.S. I believe that YHWH showed me that we do not accept in our revised bibles at lest two scriptures as APOSTOLICS. One of the scriptures is ACTS 12:4 "intending after EASTER to bring him forth to the people." We don't accept the word EASTER. It is a perversion of the original word for PASSOVER. Another scripture we don't accept is Mt. 28:19, We all know what it says so I'll write what the original stated by one of our early post -apostolic father's, EUSEBIUS. He stated Mt. 28:19 like this "Therefore go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in MY NAME." And Apostolics do that also according to Acts 2:38; 8:12-16; 10:48; 19:1-6; etc. Since all sincere students of the Bible know that YHWH is the FATHER then come out of the closet and be courageous. Come out of her, that Roman religious system. Shed that substitute name and put on the NAME OF YHWH in water baptism and keep HIS SANCTIFIED SABAATH. Declare that the SON AND HOLY GHOST ARE NAMED YHWH.
