Dearest One God Believer,

As a Jesus Name believer I was always taught to love the truth above all, because in loving the truth we love the Saviour our God. I am the way, the truth and the life. (John 14:6) And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32) Do I want to be free? Lead me in the way of thy truth and teach me.(Psm 25:5) Do I have a teachable spirit? I will walk in thy truth, unite my heart to fear thy NAME. (Psm 86:11). Can I be taught the true NAME of God? Buy the truth and sell it not. Will we sell the truth by rejecting the true NAME of the living God? Will we be found willingly ignorant of the oldest and only NAME of God? A God that changeth not. (Mal 3:6)

I recently (August 2004 ) heard that the Saviour's NAME was called YHWH (PRONOUNCED YAHWAH by all Hebrew Rabbis). It put me on a studious adventure. I called some of my Jesus Name Apostolic pastors and asked them if they ever heard of this NAME of YHWH. And they answered, yes in college. My visit to the library gave me a great awakening. In the biblical section of the library their Bibles and Toras were replete (full of) with the NAME of YHWH, my head was spinning. I thought God only had one name and His name was Jesus- Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit as our Comforter. The Bible in the Old Testament of Psalms states to invoke, call, declare, uplift HIS NAME, Now I had to seek the Holy Ghost to lead me and guide me to the singular NAME of God, Either all Jesus or all YHWH.

In the King James Bible 1611 the Saviour's NAME was called Iesous and evolved into Jesus. I thought that the word said, (HEB.13:8) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. What happened to yesterday’s name? The Lord would have to guide me to truth. Is it Jesus, Iesous or YHWH? We see that the Torah, the New Jerusalem Bible, the Jerusalem and the World English Bibles in the Old Testament that all scriptures show that the ETERNAL NAME OF GOD is called YHWH from Genesis to Malachi. I had a very difficult time with this NAME. In my study this NAME is written 6,832 times. This put into question the old refrain us Apostolic’s where taught, the Old Testament Name of God concealed, the New Testament Name of God revealed.

I went to search truth in Dr. David K. Bernard's book IN THE NAME OF JESUS. I was in for a surprise to find biblical truth mixed with the tradition of men. We proclaim to have only one NAME to God (Zech.14:9), also one God (Mark 12:32) and the name of God is Jesus. On page 13 of his book Dr. Bernard is calling the Almighty God by two names, Jehovah and YHWH. Automatically I have a contradiction to the DOCTRINE of ONE God with ONE NAME. What was I to do? Go to prayer and seek God's direction. My God led me to historical evidence that JEHOVAH was created by Fr. Peter Guiddis in the 15th century, History shows that he took YHWH and mixed it with Adoni coming with a hybrid name of Jehovah thus hiding and or diluting the true NAME of God, YHWH. The waters of understanding get muddier than before.

We get some historical clarity in his book on p. 13. The author states that the TRUE NAME of God, YHWH was taken out and replaced with LORD. Now my question is why? YHWH showed me that it is the time memorial battle of SATAN to deceive humanity of the true NAME of God, because there is power, salvation healing, and prosperity in that NAME, YHWH. Another truth on p. 13 is that the NAME of YHWH identifies to HIS people, HIS character, power, and HIS presence.

The author seems prone to use the name of his God as Jehovah on p. 20 stating that Abraham used the name Jehovah. Why does an educated man say something of untruth or embracing theologies of other religions? The Torah states YHWH as the Hebrew God of Abraham and not Jehovah.

Let’s take a look at one of his original statements, “That YHWH is God”. The scriptures on p.22 would read the following way, (ISA.52:6) “Therefore MY people shall know MY NAME: therefore they shall know in that day that I am HE that doth speak: behold, it is I”. And Bernard's next choice of the next scripture would read like this, (ZECH 14:9) “And YHWH shall be king over all the earth: in that day YHWH shall be one, and HIS NAME ONE”. JER.10:10 would read like this, “But YHWH is the TRUE God, HE is the LIVING GOD, and an everlasting KING”.

On p. 23 PSALM 54:1 states, “That in God's NAME (YHWH) there is salvation”. JOEL 2:32 & ACTS 2:21 would read this way, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the NAME of the YHWH shall be delivered” (SAVED). Peter & Joel knew the NAME of their Jewish God, YHWH. Dr. Bernard actually states on p. 25, that which is called by YHWH'S NAME is HIS possession and therefore comes under HIS authority and protection, and is HIS SAVIOUR.

Why does the author look for biblical truth in the Interpreter's Dictionary Of The bible and Webster's Unabridged Dictionary on p. 39 to back up his theology of Jehovah & Jesus pgs. 26 & 27. God apparently needed a little help to explain how HE (God) could not get one universal NAME throughout all ages. So God created theologians to help us understand why HE ended up with so many names, Yahoshua, Yeshua, Iesus, Iesous, & Jesus.

I had to seek God's face on this controversial theme of the ONE NAME OF GOD. GOD gave me an answer. He showed me that I was baptized in Jesus Name & filled with HIS spirit, have cast out demons, have seen great mighty miracles in Jesus Name, God stated to me I AM YHWH and I saved you by my grace, you saw my mighty acts because of my love & mercy. You saw my healings & miracles & the casting out of devils, again by my mercy & grace, not by the name of Jesus because that is not MY NAME, MY NAME IS YHWH forevermore. HE showed me that we were not responsible for the changing of HIS NAME, and that HE loves us with an everlasting love

YHWH wants us to give HIS NAME glory & honor. (Isa 42:8) I am YHWH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. JOHN 14:6-9 YHWH MESSIAH saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. YHWH MESSIAH saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?” shows us that MESSIAH'S Name had to have been YHWH MESSIAH. When the apostles saw MESSIAH they saw the FATHER (YHWH).

On p. 36 of the author’s book he claims that YHWH came in the flesh. This statement by itself is totally true. No matter what man thinks he has the right to do, he has no right to change THE DIVINE ETERNAL NAME OF GOD. It was the harlot church around 125 - 150 A.D. that took THE ORIGINAL HEBREW/ARAMEIC NEW TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES and hid YHWH MESSIAH'S NAME and changed it to a name that would have to change with times, cultures and language. ZEUS became Iesus changed to Iesous to Jesus to Jehovah, to Jashua to Jahoshua. MAL. 3:6 states, For I am YHWH, I change not, These names cannot stand in harmony with ORIGINAL SCRIPTURES, they just don't line up or find a witness in OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES. YHWH is taking a church out of a church.

I had to honor the NAME of the ONE who died for me at Calvary. That is why I decided to repent & be baptized in YHWH MESSIAH'S NAME. YHWH is coming back for a people called by HIS NAME. Ask your pastor today to be baptized in YHWH'S NAME.
